Holy Cow,

The Holidays killed me.

Too much egg-nog, too much chocolate, too many sweets, too much beer – I felt disgusting!

By the time Boxing day came around I was ready for my Detox again to get rid of all the pollutants I had consumed in my body.

All that junk makes you feel sluggish, crappy, and plain old fat!

My only constellation was the workout I would perform in the morning.

I could not workout at night due to the 1 too many beverages I consumed. (It is dangerous and not to mention counter-productive to consume alcohol before working out).

So, are you ready?

Are you ready for the new you this year?

What will you do that is different?

Will you join a gym, buy a gym, partake in classes or watch some DVD classes?

YOU have to find out if you are “sick and tired of being sick and tired”.

Make this year your best year ever!

Wednesday Workout, with Wife

Saturday, December 20th, 2008

Tongue teaser?

I love when my wife trains with me.

It allows me to try and impress her with my big muscles (ha, ha)

I appreciate her effort.

When you have a training partner to workout with, great things can happen.

It is much more motivating, insipiring, and it keeps you accountable as well.

Tip of the day, get a training partner. Whether it be a personal trainer or a friend, it works.

Mentally you push harder. You strive harder. You sweat more.? YOU get great results!

Who do you workout with?

Work-outs at home, TRAINERSONSITE right now!

Man o Man, what a killer work-out weekend.

Again with my buddy Sean, we killed it (as my friend Zach would say).

Saturday morning was an awesome day. Mainly becuz it started with TRUESTAR POWER (Creatine).

Creatine is a great product for men, but women beware, it volumizes the muscles cells. Meaning that the creatine gives strength and power but gives that muscle puffy look.

This is due to the holding of water in the cells of the muscle.

I would not recommend creatine for women unless they are planning to enter a bodybuilding show.

Some supplements are good, some not neccessary though.

A great combo is TRUESTAR Basics Plus (Multi-vitamin), TRUESTAR Strength (Whey Protein Meal Shake), and the TRUESTAR Detox (detox).

Those are some of the greatest basics I have ever tried.

Looking forward to your upcoming year.

Time for In-Home Personal Training

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

Are you mustering up enough will power and determination to achieve your workouts still?

How is your training going? Are you too busy to train because you are spending too much time at the mall?

This is why in-home workouts are the answer as opposed to the gym. You come home, grab some grub and pump away.

But what are your strategies to stay motivated?

- watch your favourite show (Biggest Loser?)

- do it 1st thing in the morning?

- train with a friend?

- get a trainer to come to the home?

What will be your New Year’s Resolution?

I hope it is to train more, eat better and empower other people’s lives!

In-Home Workouts

Thursday, December 4th, 2008

Wow, it’s that time of year again.

Spend, spend, spend.

Consume, consume, consume.

Now we need to Exercise, Ex….you get the point.

I am busier than I could have ever imagined with my business. It is crazy.

But I still find time to work-out. Even if it is only 30 minutes.

Recently I had an employee applying for a job to become a TRAINERSONSITE In-home trainer.

Part of the app process was she had to put me through a 15 min workout with no rest.

By the time I had completed 15 min, I was soaked and huffing and a puffing.

She new I was somewhat athletic, so she pushed me hard.

I am trying to train my muscles for growth, that athletic cardio threw me way off.

My muscles/heart were used to slow, plenty of rest work-outs.

Fitness / Weightloss is all about Exercising more and eating less.

You have to plan to be fit!

Plan your exercise, plan your eating and lastly -? plan your rest. You can’t pull 5 hour/night sleeps and still get fitness results you are looking for.
