I always respect Rob. He was my personal trainer back in 2005/06/07. Now I am not in Canada but this is really so great to see his exercise tips remotely and adopting even.
Hey Rob thanks for your tips and great love with work - out. I really liked the above tricep tips.

totally agree. If anybody like me. I crave sweets all the time, and for me not to go for chocolate, I have to have some kind of fruits or smoothies that i make at home. that way I can watch the amount of sugar.

I would have never believed this myself until I started applying it with "committed non-exercisers" or clients who have convinced themselves they are really too busy for exercise. Sometimes taking baby steps is the only way to develop the exercise habit and that's one of the biggest benefits of "micro-exercise"...1 min of exercise may not be enough to deliver results BUT it is just enough to begin creating the space for more. Another unexpected benefit I found with clients is that even just 1 min of exercise was enough to begin creating a mental shift (consciously or subconsciously) where clients would either intentionally or unintentionally begin making other small lifestyle changes throughout the day like drinking more water, being more aware of their food choices, incorporating a "post micro-exercise shake", etc. And the synergy of what they began doing was enough for noticeable results. One client actually lost 10lbs in a month with micro-exercise because of this where as before they struggled for years. After experiencing such results they have increased their exercise commitment and have created a new lifestyle. The "micro-exercise" approach is the difference between adopting an "all-or-nothing" attitude and quitting from being discouraged because one can't do it all, to at least continuing to do something no matter how seemingly insignificant.

You are right about it being time consuming. I did P90X about two years ago, and I felt like I no longer had free time. Not only are the workouts an hour each, but depending on what program you are doing, you sometimes have to do more than one dvd in a day. I wouldn't suggest it for a beginner or anyone who hasnt spent a lot of time in the gym already.
